What is a scholarship?

Scholarships are free money that doesn't need to be repaid. Each scholarship has different requirements, and not all require a high GPA. It is important for students to explore the best scholarship opportunities for their individual needs.

What are the steps to apply?

  1. Search scholarships (use the sites above or look in google classroom class of ...)
  2. Check if you qualify. 
  3. Prepare required materials (essays, letter of recommendation, etc,).
  4. Submit applications.
  5. Thank you recommenders (AND don't forget to ask with at least 2 weeks' notice).
