Get Involved - Join an Advisory Committee
  • School Site Council
  • English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) - The purpose of ELAC is to build the capacity of parents/guardians of English learners to assist in the education of their children.  The ELAC committee meets monthly from August - April on the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the AHS Staff Lounge. 
    El propósito de un ELAC es desarrollar la capacidad de los padres/tutores de los estudiantes aprendices de inglés para colaborar en la educación de sus hijos. El comité de ELAC se reune mensualmente entre Agosto-Abril cada ultimo miercoles del mes. Las reuniones comienzan a las 6:00 PM en el comedor del personal de la escuela.
     
  • Title 1 -
    • Title I funds are allocated to schools based on the percentage of students receiving free/reduced lunch.
      •Title I provides federal funding for schools to help students who are low-achieving or at most risk of falling behind.
       
    • Los fondos del Título 1 son asignados a las escuelas según el porcentaje de estudiantes que reciben almuerzos gratis o a precio reducido.
    • El Título 1 proporciona fondos federales a las escuelas para ayudar a los estudiantes que tienen el más bajo rendimiento académico o están en peligro de atrasarse en sus estudios académicos.
  • Safety Committee - Alisal High School Safety Team meetings are held once per quarter. Campus safety in all areas of campus is discussed. Campus security, Campus Probation Officer, Campus supervisors, school personnel and student representatives are part of the team. Items shared and discussed are: 
     
    • Health and safety
       
    • Campus and cafeteria areas of concern
       
    • Student members share their concerns regarding student and campus safety and raise awareness of issues they see among their peers. 
       
    • If parents/guardians would like to be part of the safety team, please contact Mr. Contreras at 796-7600.

Welcome to Parents on Campus/Padres en el Plantel. 

The purpose of meeting so you can understand the educational plan of your son/daughter.  Learn about school activities.  Every week a guest from the community will be invited to share information with parents.

Every Wednesday 10:00 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. This meeting is in person.  Please call Rachel Torres for more information.
