AHS Media Arts is partnered with Career Technical Education programs offered through the Mission Trail ROP (regional occupation program). We offer skills and knowledge that center around careers in fields of Digital Media Arts. Our students experience all of the aspects of pre and post production in the film making industry. Our courses touch on TV Production, Film Editing, Camera Literacy, Sound Creation, Directing, Storyboarding, Marketing, Photography, and Graphic Design. This year we hope to focus on promoting the athletes and programs of our sports department with highlights, documentaries and sports talk featured on our Youtube channel and local community broadcast through the Monterey county office of education MCAET program. Our year culminates with the an annual film festival held in the Maya Cinema, where students showcase films, commercials, documentaries, and other digital media projects they have created.
